Juanita lives in Colorado and is a literary fiction writer, poet, screenwriter and playwright. Juanita’s recent works include, Crying in Water and Walking with PTSD.
Crying in Water (a literary novella): Fourteen year old Chloe endures living with her alcoholic mother, while constantly being bullied in school by the wolf pack. She never looks forward to tomorrow as she survives the day-to-day monotony that is her life, wondering if it will ever change. During her final year at Humbridge Middle School she finds the most unlikely of friends to guide her, and in her darkest moments, Chloe must make a choice and either lose to the tragedies in her life or finally find her power. Chloe’s journey to find her truth is one filled with pain, loss, love, forgiveness, and friendship. The most special friendship like no other that transcends all time.
